Today I find myself on the road again. This morning I left Ann Arbor for the big city lights of New York City. Since I last posted a blog I wrestled in the Sunkist International tournament and then at the Clansman International tournament. Sunkist did not go as I would have liked but I knew going into the tournament I was going to have to scrap. I lost in the semis to Jake Herbert in a match that went three periods and ended in a me losing the clinch. Jake is very hard to wrestle because his motion is like no other wrestler out there. I have been around Jake for awhile now with all of the camps Sean Bormet has at Overtime. Between Jake, Tyrel Todd, Clint Wattenberg, and myself we workout with each other to make each other better, so it is no surprise if we meet up at a tournament that we can beat each other. Our goal is for all of us to get better and there is no better way then to workout with the best around. After Sunkist I was able to stay at my brothers house in Scottsdale for an extra day before heading off to Vancouver. I was not prepared for the Clansman simply because I did not want to look past Sunkist, that is the main reason I did not make weight up there. I thought we weighed in on Friday but it was really on Thursday. I did well wrestling up a weight but I lost a close one in the semis to Kyle Cerminara, but I rebounded with a nice win over Kurt Bakes for 3rd place.

This current trip I am on starts with a dual meet against the Russians Thursday night. After the dual then I will wrestle in the NYAC tournament on Sunday. After the NYAC tournament we leave for France to wrestle the following weekend.

I am excited to go out there and wrestle again and prove to myself that I can win. I have been getting great workouts with Ryan Churella. Ryan is picking up the new style fast and is giving me all I can handle and then some.
