The storm

*I'm going to catch up quick. Read any if you like. Don't if you don't. 18+ The great wall is well... great. It winds all the way around all the mountain ranges we can see. From the great wall we can see the cities all around china. There are lifts on the way up, which we end up taking all the way down afterwards. Larry is getting some nice shots of him taken. Some of him walking up the stairs of the great wall and others where he is hanging over the edge of the great wall, and in the doorways. Finally telemundo is ready to do their interview on larry. They start interviewing him on the stairs. Several people stop and, as always, try to stand in the shot. Afterwards Larry tells me he was stuttering, but the whole time I was taking pictures with his camcorder so I had no idea. Then, right at the end of the interview, it begins raining. We run in one of the towers and then the rain turns into a storm. It pours. It is lightening and thundering now and there is no way we are going to walk out. We just try to find the best way to cover ourselves inside from the storm. There is lightening and thunder and at first our tower is packed. We chill out until the storm ends three hours later. I don't know if I described this storm well enough. Here, ten people struck by lightening, one person dead. Why does this happen? we are at the top of the mountain range during a lightening storm. No lightening rods, so cell phones near the windows serve as a good substitute. Let this be a lesson to you. Larry and I intended to wrestle today. Clearly this isn't going to happen now. So instead we just break it down right there. I think eighty percent of technique can be done without touching anything but the bottoms of your feet. We drill for about 15 or twenty minutes. At one point a whole bunch of chinese people show up to cheer us on. Finally the storm begins to pass. We get ponchos and go down the lift. At the bottom of it I get ripped off, AGAIN! Tingting actually starts crying because the people are so aggressive. And then we head out to eat and that's when larry makes some type of comment in spanish about how I feel towards chickens. Everybody laughed so I guess they don't eat chicken in Mexico, right?
