I wanted to write down some of the things that have been going on in Beijing. First a little background: I got here the tenth, two days ago. I'm here with Larry Langowski Mendoza or L.L. Mendoza "The Luchador". I wrestled with Larry a lot the spring of my freshman year. He's tough to wrestle and tough to score on but like everyone else still has plenty of things to work on. Hopefully we can improve on the few things and strategize to find a way to bring back a medal. He is wrestling for Mexico and they are paying for my trip to be his training partner and coach. He is also one of my very good friends. I'm staying at a hotel room by myself in Beijing and it's been very independent trying to coordinate things with Larry to get him ready. It's pretty opposite the US situation so I'll send a few stories this way since I don't understand a thing on this TV and it's no use trying to have small talk with the people here. They hooked me up with a computer in my room which is nice.
