Message #86 - Thinking vs Doing....

Lee Kemp | Profile
June 16, 2009

This is the one thing most of us do too much of...

Most of our time and energy is spent thinking about doing something...rather than doing it!

Thinking about doing something and doing something yields entirely different results.

Thinking is way overrated. Most of us over think things, and as a result never get moving to actually doing the thing(s) we were thing about.

99% of why we don't accomplish things in life is because we never get to them.

The more we think, the more we talk ourselves out of the thing we want.

In fact the circumstance we find ourselves in reflects back what we were thinking.

Keep your thinking short, direct and to the point!

I think Lee Kemp worked for Nike at some in his illustrious career and got a whole nation to buy into the swoosh, get off our lazy butts, and JUST DO IT!

Here! Here! Well put. In fact while I was thinking about doing something I took a break to look at flowrestling, now let me get my ass back to work and DO something instead of thinking about it.

If you have never gone to his website and purchased his pyschology of winning dvd's, you are missing out on a lot of great stuff. Lee Kemp is a credit to our sport. Do you realize that in about 14 years of competition he won 2 state titles 3 NCAA titles (4x finalist), beat Gable, won 3 world titles (1st American to do so) a bronze to boot, and maybe 4 world cup titles. You want to learn how to win...he's the man.

So true Kemp. After I get home from work, and think too long about getting a lift or run in, I always blow it off. If I walk in the door and just get right to it, it's so much easier..
