Im excited to do my first Youth Tournament. It is called the Midwest Open and is going to take place in Evanston IL. It will be a K-8th grade tournament on December 29th. It is also a qualifier tournament for the top 3 placers to go to the National Youth Tournament. It will be cool to go from Kindergartners wrestling at the Midwest Open to Olympic hopefuls wrestling at the Midlands. That is the full spectrum of athletes. This should be interesting. I hope a lot of the kids come out to see the finals for Midlands after the Midwest Open is done. That would be cool and I encourage people to come out to make the voyage from the Midwest open to Midlands and celebrate wrestling one last time in 2007.
