Just like in a family, as the team gets more confident, the expectations begin to rise. As weight classes fill, elbow room becomes scarce and a little friction turns into drama. Oh how I missed this formula. My older boys Team made the Trip, "Team States"in his junior year . Values and morals that are taught to us as bean sprouts are tested in the fire of sibling rivalry become awaken in these journeys. It is so rare to really forge bonds and set goals and verify accomplishments in a Team atmosphere anymore. I will never forget the Hadad's, the Wales, the Atchley's, the Thisen's, the Gabrielsons, the Gibson's, the Jackson's, ect... To name all of the Families is to say Amen. The experience is so focusing you become family with them. The rest of the world continues and I place another quarter in the juke box for a Beatles song "Yellow Submarine". 91 days to our District. Our warriors are bouncing of of the walls Flo. Out
