Marcie Van Dusen is the two-time reigning national champion at 55kg, and she
made her world championships debut in 2007, finishing 10th. At the
2007 Pan Am Games, she earned a silver medal. The international
experience is a welcome sign for Van Dusen, who burst onto the U.S.
scene with a third-place finish as a 19-year-old at the 2002
Nationals.
