AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 18, 2015)- FloWrestling is excited to announce that they are partnering with the Texas School of Wrestling to live stream the Texas Throwdown, Saturday, September 26th.

The Texas Throwdown will feature an all-star dual meet ranging from some of the best youth wrestlers in the country to some of the best Senior level wrestlers in the United States. Headlined by a Bedlam batlle between Kendric Maple and Jon Morrison. Dustin Kilgore and Wynn Michalak will also do battle in a bout of elite Senior level wrestlers.

"In putting this event together, we sought to present certain high-level matches that wrestling fans otherwise would not have the opportunity to enjoy," event director Michael Ross said.

"The senior level matches feature 2 NCAA Champions, an NCAA finalist (who is currently ranked #20 in the world), and an NCAA All-American. I can’t remember the last time wrestlers of this caliber competed in Texas. Wrestling fans are in for a real treat," Ross continued.

The lone youth match of the night will feature two of the best youth wrestlers in the country. Cullan Schriever of Iowa is set to face off with Vincent Zerban of Illinois. Schriever is ranked #1 in the World of Wrestling rankings at 76lbs, and Zerban is the #1 ranked wrestler in the World of Wrestling rankings at 80lbs.

The youth match will be followed up by two high school matches. 2015 Texas 6A state champion, Quincy Monday, will wrestle 2015 Texas 5A state champion Xavier Torres. Monday's brother, Kennedy, a 6A state champion, will wrestle 2015 Texas 6A state placer, Jake Hart.

"The high school match ups feature accomplished Texas wrestlers, who based upon their different weight classes, would be unlikely to face one another outside of this event. The youth match features two exceptional middle school wrestlers who are #1 ranked nationally at different weights. That bout is highly anticipated and should provide a little glimpse into the future of wrestling in our country," Ross continued.
