FloNationals Uniform Announcement
Out with the old and in with the new.

The evolution of wrestling, and any sport, is necessary for it to survive and thrive. Rule tweaks are one thing, but looking back over the centuries of sport, the one undeniable improvement most sports have made is their respective uniforms.

Evolution of sports attire is inevitable and needed to keep up with the times, and we’ll even take it a step further and say it’s necessary to continue attracting kids to the sport…the future of wrestling.

The time for wrestling has almost arrived.

Let’s embrace and be ambassadors for growth and the future of the sport as we usher in some serious changes to the uniforms.

As you saw in the Snakepit at our annual Who’s No. 1 event to kick off this season (pictured below), the singlet is becoming a thing of the past. Even FILA has begun taking steps to make these changes, and we fully believe it is in the best interest of the future of our sport.

With that, FloWrestling will be integrating the new two-piece uniform style into our FloNationals tournament.

Wrestlers will have the option of wrestling in a singlet or they can wear a compression shirt and fight shorts throughout the tournament. Those who reach the finals will receive a sick compression top and fight shorts combo.

It’s a start, and it’s time. With the new style of gear hitting the mats for the finals of FloNationals, we take another step in a new era of wrestling.

We think you’ll agree, it looks pretty damn good.

Below are mock ups of the championship uniforms (black and gold) and the event gear (all black) that will be on sale at the tournament.
