Kent State v. Mizzou & Edinboro LIVE Friday

The Kent State Golden Flashes have their work cut out for them this Friday as they'll be taking on two top 15 teams in #10 Missouri and #12 Kent State.

The first dual of the evening, Kent State v. Mizzou, pits conferences foes against each other in ten weight classes, with MAC tournament seeds on the line. Mizzou is the favorite for a dual victory here, but there should be plenty of wild individual matchups to keep an eye on, including #5 Ian Miller of Kent (possibly the most exciting wrestler to watch in the country) vs. freshman eye-opener Joey Lavallee who wrestled #2 Alex Dieringer to a 4-2 dec and is coming off a big win over ODU's Tristan Warner.

The Kent State v. Edinboro dual follows directly after. The dual doesn't hold as much weight as the former because conference tournament seeding isn't on the line, but there will be a better set of head-to-heads for the fans to watch. Two matches pit ranked wrestlers against each other: #19 Mackenzie McGuire v. #2 AJ Schopp at 133 & #5 Ian Miller v. #15 Johnny Greisheimer at 157. You'll also want to keep watch on the 141lb match, which pairs a very tough Tyler Small against nationally ranked #2 Mitchell Port.
