NATIONALLY-RANKED HOOSIERS
Four Hoosiers are ranked amongst the country's elite this week: #6 Taylor Walsh (157 lbs) #8 Adam Chalfant(285 lbs) #15 Luke Sheridan (184 lbs) #23 Ryan LeBlanc (165 lbs)

While four nationally-ranked Hoosiers will take the mats, the competition is expected to bring in six more of the nation's best: Drexel's #14 Brandon Palik (197 lbs), Northern Colorado's #27 Henry Chirino (285 lbs) and West Virginia's #15 Nate Pennesi (133 lbs), #27 Bubba Scheffel (174 lbs), #31 Mike Morales (149 lbs) & #33 Colin Johnston (141 lbs).

LAST TIME ON THE MATS
In its most recent action, Hoosier Wrestling placed second at the 2013 Keystone Classic, besting three Top-25 teams in the final standings. Indiana's strong performance came on the back of four individual finalists, including tournament champions Ethan Raley (141 lbs) and Taylor Walsh (157 lbs).

In addition, runner-ups Luke Sheridan (184 lbs) and Adam Chalfant (285 lbs) also reached the finals. Joe Duca (125 lbs) and Ryan LeBlanc (165 lbs) each placed fifth in their respective weight classes.

PIN KING
Redshirt junior Taylor Walsh is racking up pins at an all-time rate through the first month of the season. Walsh sits at 15-0 with a dozen falls. Cornell's Kyle Dake paced all of D-I wrestling with 18 pins during the entire 2012-13 season.

Walsh's 12 pins are just one shy of cracking the all-time IU top-10, chasing the top spot of 19 by Rod Chamberlin in 1981. The slap of the mat from a referee's palm is nothing new for Walsh, accumulating 33 pins in his career thus far (ninth most in school history).

BIG TEN DOING BIG THINGS
As a conference, the Big Ten is a combined 41-8 in 49 non-conference duals during the 2013-14 campaign, good for a 83.7 winning percentage. Ten B1G schools can be found in Intermat's Top-25 this week and nine conference teams crack the USA Today Coaches Poll Top-25.

HOOSIERSTV IN THE HOUSE
University Gym is hosting 12 dual matches this season and nine of those contests will be streamed live online by the Big Ten Digital Network on HoosiersTV at IUHoosiers.com. All BTDN broadcasts have the potential to be re-aired on the Big Ten Network tape-delayed.
