Three Americans are weighed in and ready to compete as the 2013 World Championships will kick off on Monday.

Angel Escobedo (IN, Ohio RTC) is the U.S. representative at 55KG. He's in the top bracket and faces Andrei Dukov of Romania in his first bout.

Iowa hero, Brent Metcalf (MI, NYAC) is the man for the U.S. at 66KG. His first bout will be against Mehdi Taghavi (IRI), the 2009 and 2011 World Champion.

Healthy and ready to go, JD Bergman (OH, Ohio RTC) has Alexey Krupnyakov (KGZ) in his opening round.
