In 2011 Fila re-introduced Cadet Worlds after a 14-year lay off. The result has been seen reinvigorated interest in wrestling in the age group as kids can now pursue a Cadet World Championship.
And two U.S. wrestlers claimed that prize. Adam Coon (MI) won at Heavyweight in 2011, and Zain Retherford grabbed the ultimate prize last year.
Now we’re talking!
With a World Team Berth on line, a trip to Serbia, and the chance for World Gold, the competition will be fast and furious. And the stars are lined up; the top wrestlers are registered and set to battle.
