The High Single
- John Hangey Shows the Basic High Single John Hangey shows the basics to a Head Inside Single. The details of this move were influenced by Mayo, one of John's assistant coaches when he was wrestling.
- Brandon Browne's Back to the Center Set Up Brandon Browne shows a great set up to the high single. You really almost just bait your opponent into this takedown. As you both come back to the center, fake like your going for a tie (flash your hands), and when your opponent reacts, snatch the high single.
- Rob Eiter's Baseball Grip Set Up Coach Eiter isn't worried if his opponent grabs his wrist. He simply regrabs his opponent's wrist and secures the baseball grip. One of the main things Eiter emphasizes with the tie is swinging his opponent's arm laterally to clear room and set up for hit shot.
- Angel Escobedo's Underhook Set Up Angel uses his underhook to throwby his opponent's arm. When he does so, he circles his hips all the way behind his opponent so he can secure a high single without letting the guy get away.
Finishes to the High Single
- Josh Moore Finishing With Brutality Josh Moore shows how he finishes the high single. To penetrate his opponent's leg defense, he makes sure to bump his opponent with his hip and snatch the leg under his armpit. From there, he does a "Tomahawk Chop" and clubs his to the mat as he trips his opponent with his back leg.
- Matt Azevedo Punching Shoulder Through Finish Azevedo shows how to finish with the leg on the outside. From here, he punches his shoulder down to the mat, but comes back up with the leg elbow deep. With no hesitation from there, he steps in, bangs the ear and trips the back of his opponent's leg.
