Relive Reece Humphrey: The Weight

Reece Humphrey has been one of the United States most consistent wrestlers on the Senior level. Humphrey has made three World Teams in five years, but that success also came with plenty of drama. Winning the World Teams Trials but not yet being on the team, special overseas competitions, special Olympic wrestle offs in Times Square, and the elimination of a weight class.

Having a wife and two kids has given Reece perspective and provides him motivation when he hits the tough parts of training. Dig into the life of Reece Humphrey in the first episode of - Reece Humphrey: The Weight

"If it's not dangerous, what's the point, right?"

In episode two "One Last Shot" we go inside the mind of Humphrey as he learns that his weight of 60kg will no longer be an Olympic weight. Humphrey tested the waters at 65kg, but as he soon learned it was a different animal. Next month in Las Vegas will be Humphrey's last shot at winning a world title at 61kg before he attempts to bulk up and grow into 65kg prior to the 2016 Olympic Trials. We also get to take a different look at Reece Humphrey the husband and dad instead of Reece Humphrey the wrestler.
