Appalachian State wrestling took to Twitter last week to announce the addition of Todd Schavrien and Josh Roosa to the Mountaineer coaching staff.
"I am extremely excited to add Todd and Josh to our staff," Appalachian State head coach John Mark Bentley said in the schools press release. "They bring a lot of experience and motivation that will benefit our wrestling program."

Schavrien comes to Boone after serving the last season as the volunteer assistant at Missouri, and the two previous seasons as the director of operations for the Tigers. Schavrien also competed for the Tigers where he was a three-time NCAA qualifier, Big 12 Champion, and finished his senior season by earning All-American honors.

Roosa heads south after spending the past season as an assistant at Buffalo. Before getting into coaching, Roosa had a very successful wrestling career at Bloomsburg. Roosa was a four year starter, and an NCAA qualifier in 2013 for the Huskies.
