W2W4: Biggest Weekend Yet!?
Just a massive weekend in wrestling.  I've said too much already!  To the match ups!

Friday, January 23:
Wisconsin at Michigan
Ryan Taylor v. Rossi Bruno-Taylor has been looking good after a rough initial transition up to 133. He could test Bruno in a big way here.  Timmy McCall v. Max Huntley- If McCall is pulling the trigger there’s potential for an upset here.  Connor Medbery v. Adam Coon-It was Coon in Freestyle, but that success hasn’t been necessarily translating to Folk for him.   Taylor Massa v. Isaac Jordan-Huge match here. Coin flip bout between two elite 65 pounders.

Indiana vs. Ohio State
Bo Jordan v. Taylor Walsh-Huge match for both guys. Can Bo avoid the big moves here?

Oklahoma State at Missouri
Eddie Klimara v. Alan Waters-Eddie was SO CLOSE last time around. Can he get the finishes this time?  Dean Heil v. Lavion Mayes-Great one at the Scuffle. Big spot for Heil against a potentially vulnerable Mayes.  Josh Kindig v. Drake Houdashelt-Is Kindig just better now, or will Houdashelt remind Josh who owns this match up?  Anthony Collica will face Joey Lavallee at 157 pounds.  A big spot for Kyle Crutchmer as he’ll take on a highly ranked John Eblen at 174.  Nolan Boyd can continue to climb the rankings with a win over the hot and cold Willie Miklus.  Austin Marsden will be a big favoritew against Devin Mellon at 285.

Nebraska at Illinois
Tim Lambert could face Jesse Delgado. Delgado’s availability is obviously in question here.  Anthony Abidin will face Steven Rodrigues. Abidin has had some big wins this year. This could be another.  James Green will face red hot Freshman Isaiah Martinez. Match of the week?  Robert Kokesh faces the stingy Zac Brunson coming off a rough loss against Meyer of Illinois.

Northwestern at Iowa
NCAA champ Jason Tsirtsis faces Brandon Sorensen in one of the biggest matches of the weekend.  Pierce Harger knocked off Nick Moore at Midlands. Which Nick Moore will we see this time around?  Alex Polizzi renews his rivalry with Nathan Burak. The two split last year.
Mike McMullan will face #1 Bobby Telford-What else needs said? Huge match and likely a toss up.

Saturday, January 24:
Penn at Cornell
A pair of All americans collide at 184 when Lorenzo Thomas takes on #1 Gabe Dean.

Edinboro at Rider
AJ Schopp v. Rob Deutsch could happen, but Schopp has been out with injury since Midlands.
Dave Habat will be a favorite against BJ Clagon who has shown he has the goods to wrestle with just about anybody.

North Carolina at Navy, 7:00 PM
Ethan Ramos will take on Peyton Walsh in a battle of ranked 165 pounders.

App State Open:
Heard we may see Micah Jordan there at 149. If he has a good run, what does it mean for the Buckeye True Freshman?

Sunday, January 25
Michigan at Indiana
Taylor Massa will face Taylor Walsh-Walsh and Massa both have huge matches leading up to this one.

Rutgers at Nebraska
Anthony Abidin will face Anthony Ashnault. Big weekend for Abidin as he’ll have a shot at gaining top 10 status with 2 wins here. Those will be hard to come by, however.  James Green v. Anthony Perrotti-Will we see the All American Perrotti this weekend?

Pittsburgh at Virginia
Blaise Butler will face Tyler Wilps-Just huge. Conference ramifications as well as NCAA rankings.  Zach Nye will face Nick Bonaccorsi in a battle of ranked 197 pounders.

Minnesota at Penn State
Chris Dardanes v. Jimmy Gulibon-Which Jimmy Gulibon will we get for this one. Don’t rule out the upset yet.  Dylan Ness will take on Dylan Alton-Big spot for Dylan Ness. That could spell trouble for Alton.  Logan Storley takes on Matt Brown-This one is almost always a coin flip. Huge dual point ramifications.  Brett Pfarr takes on Matt McCutcheon at 184. Don’t rule out MM pulling an upset at home.  Scott Schiller well have an opportunity for revenge against Morgan McIntosh. What adjustments will Schiller make?  Mike Kroells will be an underdog against Jimmy Lawson or Jon Gingrich, whichever PSU heavy they throw out there will be a tough task for Kroells.

Oklahoma State at Iowa State
Josh Kindig faces a tough Gabe Moreno at 149 pounds.  Kyle Crutchmer will face Tanner Weatherman of ISU at 174. Weatherman is coming off a big win over Zach Epperly. Nolan Boyd will take on Lelund Weatherspoon at 184 pounds.  Mike Moreno will have an opportunity against #1 Alex Dieringer.

Cornell at Lehigh
Mark Grey will take on Mason Beckman-For the 900th time. I bet it’s close.  Brian Realbuto will have another tough test against Mitch Minotti at 157.  Gabe Dean v. Nate Brown-Match of the dual for sure. Going to be a tight one.  Jace Bennett will take on Elliot Riddick in a battle of ranked 197 pounders.

Illinois at Northwestern
Jackson Morse will take on Pierce Harger at 165 pounds.
