Wrestler of the Week: Arajau Leads Strong NY Showing
New Yorkers rule the roost this week.

With the Iron Horse Invitation unofficially kicking off the high school Preseason, Empire Staters made their presence felt in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

State Champion and FloNationals Finalist, Vitali Arajau (Syosset, NY) beat last year's Super 32 Runner-Up, Gage Curry and then PA State Champion, Luke Karam, to claim the IHI title.

For his monster outing, we've named him FloWrestler of the Week.

New York won 9 of the 26 brackets including many of the deepest and most intriguing ones.

Here were our other nominees for Wrestler of the Week...

- Jesse Porter, Shenendehowa, NY - The four-time FS/GR All American beat #13-Jake Restrepo to win Bracket 19. He also had a fall over Sean Glasgow.

- Yousif Hemida, Mamaroneck, NY - A two-time Fargo FS All American and this year's FloNationals Runner-Up, Hemida beat Jeff Velez and #6-Andrew Dunn to win Bracket 26.
