The ODU Monarchs have their first big commitment of the 2015 class. Brandon James of Perry Meridian High School in Indiana verbally committed to wrestle for Steve Martin At ODU.

James, a Senior who ranks #55 on the Senior Big Board and #13 at 138 is a returning runner up at Indiana States, a 3 time Fargo All American as well as a 3rd place finisher at 2014 Flonationals.

The Monarchs project James as a 141 pounder at the next level. The timing should work out well for ODU’s current roster with NCAA Qualifier Chris Mecate entering his Junior Season.
James’ signature win last year probably came in the 3rd place match of Flonationals against Chad Red. Check it out here.
