Andrew Long Arrested

Anyone remember what happened to Jordan Holm and how absurb his case sounded?

i doubt this girl didn't lead him on.....And its not okay for a somebody to poison themselves with something that defects his/her decision making skills then wake up the next morning and say she was taken advantage of...u really think Andrew long got on top of a sleeping girl or he was led on by a rly drunk girl who woke up the next morning and didnt remember a thing.....Andrew Long did not threaten her or physically force her to have sex with him...this girl was just really drunk

Ignoring it isnt an option. This is horrible all the way around but not living in reality to what is happening in the wrestling community is foolish

This website is supposed to be about promoting the sport, not the National Enquirer of wrestling, at least I THOUGHT it was. Posting this stuff on the messageboard of this site is fine, but making it a headline is distasteful and against everything I thought this website was about. I send many new wrestling parents/kids/fans to this website, but if you are going to be making headlines out of wrestlers who get in trouble then I will have to stop that.

I hate that I feel like I have to comment on this, but some of the comments just make me sick and I can't let them stand without a response. Innocent until proven guilty, I couldn't agree more. So I'm not attacking Andrew Long here, but just making a comment on the alleged senerio. One comment says "I highly doubt she was not conscious" How the f*ck do you know, keep you mouth shut. And trying to place blame on the girl because she "decided" to get drunk or had next day regret, please grow up (you obvious don't have a daughter "Hi dad, I was raped", "Were you drinking, oh well then it wasn't rape, you shouldn't have put yourself in the situation.") You also obviously don't realize how extremely difficult it is to report when something like this happens to you. I speak of this matter from experience. I dated a girl who was raped while she was passed out, yes unconscious. She had no recall of the events but knew in the morning that (I guess girls can tell) someone had sex with her during the night. When she confronted the guy who did it his response was "I thought you wanted it" she didn't say she wanted it or even initiate any kind of fore-play prior to passing out. Despite my urging she never did report this to the police. She just wanted it to go away and pretend that it did not happen. Without going into details let me just say that this trama effected her seriously for many years following. So, I have some basis to empathize with this girl, and have a very good idea how hard it is to come forward with an allegation like this. She has exposed herself to public ridicule and stigma. I commend this girl for her bravery and my prayers are with her. Please commenters don't make this worse by raping her all over again which sadly happens far to often by the public who continues to blame her. Trust me I'm sure that this girl is already inside blaming herself, wondering what she did wrong. If her allegations prove to be true I think the PSU team should invite Andrew to a little "meeting" and stop the f*ck out of him.

I highly doubt she was not consicous. ... I don't think Andrew just got on top of a girl who was unconscious...

In a lot of these cases girls just are too drunk to be able to say no....and the next day they regret not saying no and say that they were taken advantage of...
by poisoning your own body u r putting yourself at risk of not being able to say no in many situations...so like i said when any person is intoxicated there is a high likelyhood they make a decision they wouldn't make sober yet people still drink anyway

But according to the article in the paper--(here is an excerpt)-Long, 22, of State College, was arrested Friday by State College police and charged with rape, criminal attempt of rape and indecent assault. The charges indicate the alleged victim was unconscious.
So is your opinion if the girl drank and was unconscious it is ok because she willingly drank? Again we wont know until all the facts are out, but if she was indeed unconscious he should go to jail.
