Aaron Pico's second Bellator fight showed exactly what the world medalist is all about.

Brandishing his superior wrestling skills along with his ability to throw hands, Pico notched his first professional MMA win by knocking out Justin Linn in the first round at Bellator 183 on Saturday night in San Jose, CA.

After taking a devastating loss in his debut, the 20-year-old Pico made some obvious changes before stepping into the cage again, which included dropping to the 145-pound weight class. The move proved to be a smart one as he left Linn lying on the canvas after landing a devastating left. After his first victory, Pico had this to say.

First of all, hats off to Justin [Linn]. He's a great competitor and I knew it was going to be a tough fight. It feels good fighting at 145 pounds. This is my natural weight and it felt great. I'm going to have to watch the replay of this fight because I'm not even sure how I hit him. It was just very instinctual. I always knew that I had very powerful hands and I'm not being cocky, I'm just confident because I spar with some of the best boxers in the world over at Team Bodyshop in Long Beach. The key to this fight was just relaxing because I knew that as long as I was relaxed in there, my skill set was going to show.
