Davis, Honeycutt Win At Bellator 182
Former wrestlers Joey Davis and Chris Honeycutt won their fights at Bellator 182.
Joey Davis improved to 2-0 in his professional MMA career Friday night.
Fighting at Bellator 182 in Verona, NY, Davis took down his opponent with ease before landing brutal elbows that led to a first-round stoppage.
A two-time California state champion and FloNationals champion, Davis went on to an undefeated career at Notre Dame College while capturing four Division II crowns.
Also on the card was two-time All-American Chris Honeycutt, who stopped his opponent in the first round with strikes. Honeycutt is now 10-1 with his lone loss coming to former Iowa All-American Paul Bradley.
