Two of the baddest Big Ten recruits will be throwing down in the Snake Pit.

Pennsylvania's Gavin Hoffman, an Ohio State commit, and Michael Beard, a Penn State commit, will meet at Who's #1 in the 195-pound bout at Lehigh University's Leeman-Turner Arena in Grace Hall on October 8 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for the No.1 spot in the country. Hoffman is a two-time state champion and most recently made his first cadet world team. He is also a Super 32 runner-up, FloNational champion, and NHSCA junior national champ.

Beard, who will be making his second straight WNO appearance after defending his No. 1 spot a year ago at 182 against Jelani Embree, finished his season with another National Prep title. The future PSU Nittany Lion also has an Escape the Rock title and a Beast of the East title.
