Fargo Star Watch: Session 1 Cadet Freestyle
These six stars dominated their way through the opening session of Cadet Freestyle Nationals in Fargo.
The top cadets are doing what is expected of them: rolling through the field. Session 1 is over and session 2 begins at 3pm central. Check out what this six pack of studs did in the morning session. Don't forget, complete brackets can be found on FloArena.
After speaking to one of the Minnesota coaches, it's clear they believe the wrestling world will have a new household name very soon. Watch the Akron bronze medalist roll up his first opponent below.
Braxton Amos (220), West Virginia
Some kids, you might be worried if they missed 10 months of action. But for Braxton Amos, he just goes over the top for one of the biggest throw of the morning. Watch him send another big man flying below.Cullan Schriever (106), Iowa
The returning champ has two techs heading into his Round of 16 match with Parker Decker from Texas. Schriever is looking confident and determined to control the match with his expanding offensive repertoire.Carson Manville (132), Minnesota
After deciding to bump up to 132 at the last second, the incoming freshman has spent just a shade over a single period on the mat... in three matches. The shortest was his Round of 32 win, which you can see below.Josh Saunders (126), Missouri
With Manville moving up, returning All American Saunders became the top seed at 126. It seems as though he and Carson are having a competition to spend the least amount of time before teching someone. Manville holds just a two second lead heading into the Round of 16.
Patrick Kennedy (170), Minnesota
After speaking to one of the Minnesota coaches, it's clear they believe the wrestling world will have a new household name very soon. Watch the Akron bronze medalist roll up his first opponent below.Kevon Davenport (138), Missouri
If Davenport is tired after coming back from Cadet Pan Ams, he hasn't shown it. His duck from space was one of the sweetest moves from session one. [tweet url="https://twitter.com/FloWrestling/status/886250898695090180" hide_media="0" hide_thread="1"]Get all of the hottest FloWrestling content!
