Other FloWrestlers of the Week
Robbie Mathers, Sunkist Kids: What an impressive run to the title. Mathers took out two-time NCAA champ Dean Heil, who was the No. 1 seed, and then All-Americans Earl Hall and Tommy Thorn in the semis and finals, respectively, to win the title at 65kg. He was also named the OW of the university freestyle tournament.
Will Lewan, Izzy Style: What's better than making one world team? Making two world teams. And that is exactly what Lewan did. On day one, he battled his way to a spot on the Greco world team and then came back the next two days to make his way to the top of the podium in freestyle. And he plans to compete in both styles at the world championships.
Chance Marsteller, Dark Knights: He was just on another level. On his way back to the university finals, where he finished as a runner-up a year ago, Marsteller tech-falled his way to the top and was only scored on in two of his six matches.
Luke Welch, Boilermaker: Won the 57kg University National title with wins over Sean Russell and David Terao in the semis and finals.
Robert Howard, Bitetto Trained: Took out Brody Teske and Chris Cannon on the way to making the world team.
