Ramos To Gilman: 'In Your Dreams'

Tony Ramos responds to Thomas Gilman as they both prepare for the USA Wrestling 2017 World Team Trials, going down in Lincoln, Nebraska June 9-10.

Thomas Gilman got the attention of Tony Ramos, his former Iowa teammate and potential World Team Trials opponent, when he told the JoeFlo and Bader Show Podcast this week that "I know how to freaking beat him, and he knows that."

Ramos returned fire on Twitter with the following:

Ramos did not shy away from elaborating on his tweet. He followed up with FloWrestling, stating on the record:

Tom and Terry better make sure he gets to the finals so I can stomp a mud hole in him!

Gilman qualified for the team trials by winning the Last Chance Qualifier this past weekend over Danial DeShazer, which you can watch in the video below.

USA Wrestling's senior World Team Trials are going down in Lincoln, NE, on June 9-10. The event will be steamed live on Flo.

Gilman will have to fight his way through the challenge tournament to get to Ramos, who will be sitting in the final best-of-three series due to his recent U.S. Open Championship.
