As we all know, recruiting season started with a bang as a number of wrestlers decided to decommit from the schools they originally thought were the right fit for them. One of those wrestlers that changed their mind as No. 2 Michael Beard, who had previously made a verbal commitment to Northwestern.

Since announcing that he was reopening his recruitment, Beard has said that one of his top schools was the national title winning Nittany Lions. Well, the courtship of Beard went up to another level today as Head Coach Cael Sanderson made a visit to the Malvern Prep wrestling room. Beard's new school choice is yet to be determined, but one thing is for sure, PSU clearly wants him.
