Seven seeded wrestlers across five weight classes lost in the first round of the EIWA Championships on Friday morning in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

The first three weights all progressed according to seed, but the brackets got a shakeup at Bucknell's Sojka Pavillion starting at 149.

The EIWAs continue with the quarterfinals at 6 PM ET, live on FloWrestling.

No. 4 Jonathan Furnas, Cornell vs. Danny Reed, Columbia
Cornell suffered its only loss in the championship round when Furnas gave up a come-from-behind takedown with less than 10 seconds left in the match.

No. 6 Joe Oliva, Penn vs. Corey Wilding, Navy
Oliva suffered a similar fate when he came out of the losing end of a scramble in the match's closing seconds.

No. 1 Jordan Kutler, Lehigh vs. Jake Kaminsky, Hofstra
In stunning turn of events, Kutler did not weigh in, ending his 2017 postseason and flipping the 157 bracket on it's head.

No. 3 Victor Lopez, Bucknell vs. Zach David, Navy 
The 157 bracket was further eviscerated when Lopez went down 6-3 in his home gym.

No. 7 Tom Page, American vs. Tristan Rifanburg, Binghamton
The weight class claimed it's third victim when Page lost a close bout in the round of 16.

No. 8 Sage Heller, Hofstra vs. Andrew LaBrie, Brown
Heller never recovered from an injury timeout early in the match, losing by fall in this mild upset.

No. 6 CJ LaFragola, Brown vs. Jacob Young Columbia
LaFragola was attempting a come back from a 3-2 deficit late in the third when he was decked at the edge of the mat.

No. 4 Steban Cervantes, Navy vs. Rocco Caywood, Army
Cervantes was upended by his military academy rival in this very close, incredibly intense match.

Down in the consolation bracket, all the seeded wrestlers are still alive, except for Kutler, whose season is over, and Sage Heller, who was knocked out of the tournament by Ebed Jarrell of Drexel 8-0.
