Live This Week On Flo: Feb. 24/25 - National Preps | Feb. 24/25 - NJCAA National Championships | Feb. 26 - National Collegiate Open

While we know one of the biggest hammers will not be wrestling this weekend, there are still a number of studs to watch this weekend in Bethlehem at National Preps. Cadet world champ Kurt McHenry, ranked 2nd at 106lbs, is the one who will be out this weekend.

Our coverage of the 2017 National Prep tournament begins Friday, February 24th at 8:30 am eastern time. Brackets will be on FloArena and every match can be seen LIVE on FloWrestling. The seeds can be found here.

#1 Chase Singletary - 220, Blair Academy

The future Ohio State heavyweight is looking to close out his career with an undefeated senior season and second straight nat prep title. He is taller than most 285 pounders, has an explosive double and is very tough on top. Blair's team strength this year is in their lightweights, but Singletary is their closer up top.

#2 Michael Beard - 195, Malvern Prep

We spent all season in the office talking about how big Beard was at 182, and that Ryan Karoly also could bump up. Now that it's the end of the year, those weight bumps are bearing out.

#4 Beau Bartlett - 120, Wyoming Seminary

Unquestionably one of the best freshman in the country, this weekend is another chance to build his folkstyle legacy before making a run at a Cadet world team.

#5 Zach Sherman - 132, Blair Academy

Sherman is heading to UNC after this year and is one of the senior leaders of this team, along with Singletary.

#7 Julian Ramirez, Blair Academy - 152

I said earlier this year that 145 was the country's toughest weight, but 152 has been giving it a run for its money the past few weeks. Ramirez has been banged up a bit this year, and is down at No. 7 after splitting with David Carr and Shane Griffith. But a prep title could close out his season strong as he gets ready to try to make a Cadet world team. Beard was in last year's 85kg finals after winning his first prep title, could Ramirez do the same at 69kg?

#7 Ryan Karoly - 182, Malvern Prep

The double Fargo champ is a fire hydrant with excellent feet at 182. Karoly is looking to become a champ for two different schools after winning 160 last year for Blair. He's now at Malvern with his childhood friend Beard, and both of them will be heading to Northwestern after they graduate next year.

#8 Seth Janney - 285, Malvern Prep

In case you couldn't tell, Malvern is stacked at the upper weights. Janney could become the rare non-Wyoming Seminary champ at heavyweight. Cornell fans should keep an eye on their future heavyweight.

#8 Nick Incontrera - 106, Blair Academy

Incontrera has been consistently placing at tournaments all year, no easy feat with Blair's brutal schedule. With McHenry out, this may finally be his chance to get a marquee title on his resume. Expect guys to avoid taking bottom against Incontrera at all costs.
