Sorensen has not had the best dual season: The Hawkeyes junior lost to Oklahoma State's Anthony Collica for the first time, and he dropped an overtime heartbreaker to Penn State's Zain Retherford. That said, I can't imagine that Sorensen is resting on any laurels at all. One of the things that makes him such an asset is his consistency, and he always produces when he's supposed to for Iowa. His righty sweep keeps everyone who is trying to move forward on him honest, and his baseline defense is up there with the best in the country.
Lugo has the ability to score in bunches. The Edinboro sophomore transitions from a takedown to a turn very well, but that's probably not the biggest reason that he poses a threat to Sorensen this weekend. Lugo is extremely frustrating to wrestle -- his stiff arm from space will snap your head back like a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robot. Combined with the fact that his level change from the outside makes you feel like you're wrestling on a frozen pond and he's extremely stingy on top, and that can spell trouble for anyone.
