The biggest and baddest youth wrestling event of the season takes place this weekend when over 2,000 wrestlers from more than 40 states converge at the 2017 Flo Tulsa Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 62nd annual event is the oldest and most prestigious junior wrestling event in the world and gets started on Friday at 9 AM CST and finishes with Saturday's finals at 7 PM. This year's field is loaded with talent, including 24 Flo Junior High Big Board members -- six of whom are ranked in the top 12 -- and nine Flo Kickoff Classic champions competing at Expo Square Pavilion.

In the 89-pound weight class, Flo Kickoff Classic champion Cole Skinner will look to win the second leg of the Trinity Award. The No. 37 wrestler will be joined by No. 17 Anthony Ferrari and No. 18 Jett Strickenberger in pursuit of the title. 

The 82-pound and 135-pound brackets will both feature a pair of highly ranked wrestlers. Drake Ayala, ranked 24th, and No. 28 Nick Fea are competing at 82, and No. 12 Padraic Gallagher and No. 42 Tyson Moore highlight 135.

The 95-pound weight class includes Flo Kickoff Classic champion Dustin Norris as well as No. 38 Braxton Brown and No. 39 Jesse Mendez. In one of the toughest brackets in the event, a trio of ranked wrestlers will compete for the 101-pound title: No. 3 Isaac Salas, No. 9 Maximo Renteria, and No. 35 Vinny Zerban.

Another bracket that will feature multiple ranked wrestlers is at 125 pounds, where No. 8 Dylan Dodson, No. 43 Max Wilner and No. 48 Niko Katsuyoshi will all battle for a Tulsa National Championship.

Other ranked wrestlers who will be competing this weekend are No. 6 Travis Mastrogiovanni, No. 7 Brandon Hoselton, No. 21 Nic Bouzakis, No. 22 Wyatt Richter (12U), No. 23 Carter Fousek (12U), No. 26 Richard Fedalen, No. 27 Kai Owen (12U), No. 32 Jordan Williams (12U), and No. 41 Cole Rees.

The wrestlers who will look to capture their second championship in the Trinity Award Series are Fedalen (75 pounds), Jacob Mann (82), Skinner (89), Norris (95), Mastrogiovanni (115), Alex Facundo (135), Kyle Haas (157), Hoselton (175), and Donovan Ford (285).
