With 10 top-20 ranked wrestlers between them, both teams are bringing plenty of firepower. Only 126 pounds, with No. 18 Chris Cannon and No. 20 Jack Davis, is expected to see a face-off between two ranked wrestlers. But both teams have crafty coaches at the helm, and we could see some lineup shuffling in an effort to gain more favorable matchups.

Tar Heels fans will want to keep an eye on seniors Zach Sherman, ranked sixth at 132lbs, and Nick Mosco at 195. The talented Blair duo signed their national letters of intent to wrestle for North Carolina next year.

Buckeyes supporters have a recruit to watch as well. Chase Singletary, who has signed his NLI with Ohio State, is ranked No. 1 at 220 pounds and is also No. 4 in the pound-for-pound rankings.

THE RIVALRY

These two prep powerhouses have been battling for national supremacy for over a decade. In 2014, the Wyoming Seminary Blue Knights broke Blair's 11-year winning streak at the National Prep Wrestling Championships. The Blair Buccaneers have won every other championship since 2003, with Wyoming Seminary finishing runner-up eight times over that same time period.

This is the third straight year the programs have met for a dual meet, and in each of the past two meetings, the visiting team arrived ranked No. 1 only to drive home the victim of an upset. Last year, the Bucs prevailed 35-20 at home in Blairstown, New Jersey, while in January 2015, it was the Blue Knights emerging victorious in Kingston, 39-20.

THE HISTORY

Both teams have already been well tested at some of the nation's toughest and most prestigious high school tournaments earlier this season. Last month, the Bucs and Knights both entered the Walsh Ironman, in Akron, Ohio. Blair took home the team trophy, while Wyoming Seminary settled for 10th place.

This season, Blair also won the highly competitive Beast of the East, snagging five individual championships at the annual tournament held at the University of Delaware. The Buccaneers have more recently been crowned champions of the Mount Mat Madness tournament in Baltimore, Maryland, and the Geary Invitational in Geary, Oklahoma.

The Blue Knights were team champs of the XCalibur Invitational, held in Wilkes, PA. The Sem were also champions of one of the most fearsome nationwide high school events, the 50-year-old Powerade Tournament, held in Cannonsburg, PA.

Blair and Wyoming Seminary are returning a combined nine placewinners from the 2016 National Prep Championships:

WYOMING SEMINARY
120: Jack Davis, 1st place
126: Jake Riegel, 5th place

BLAIR ACADEMY
106: Michael Colaiocco, 1st place
113: Chris Cannon, 1st place
120: Mike Madara, 5th place
126: Zach Sherman, 2nd place
145: Andrew Merola, 1st place
195: Chase Singletary, 1st place
220: Nick Mosco, 2nd place
