The pools for the 2016 Journeymen Collegiate Classic have been released. The tournament begins Sunday, November 13th at 9:45 EST. Watch Every Match Live on FloWrestling. Check out our top 8 match ups, every ranked wrestler and the Journeymen Collegiate Classic Pools.

The Classic will be bringing an exciting new approach to how college wrestling tournaments are done with round robin pools. Instead of a mega-bracket for each weight, the weights are divided into very competitive pools.

8. Nick Reenan, NC State vs #16 Ryan Preisch, Lehigh
Things can happen, and True Freshman can fall, but I think Reenan will do enough to get the match against #16 Ryan Preisch. I expect a great season for Nick Reenan, so this could be an outstanding early test.

7. #9 Jake Short, Minnesota vs #13 BJ Clagon, Rider
Clagon took a fall last week. I'm curious to see how he rebounds against Jake Short who impressed me last week at Daktronics.

6. #14 Anthony Valencia, Arizona State vs #13 Dylan Cottrell, WVU
The scrambles in this match could be insane. On paper maybe you favor Valencia, but Cottrell's propensity for putting guys on their back makes this a very fun bout.

5. #6 Micah Jordan, Ohio State vs #12 Davion Jeffries, Oklahoma
Jeffries can present some tough match ups for guys. Jordan was next level against Justin Oliver. I think if Jeffries can keep the match from space, he can present some problems for Micah.

4. #5 Kevin Jack, NC State vs #14 Ke-Shawn Hayes, Ohio State
Where does the Freshman stack up? That's what we'll find out here. We very well could be talking about Ke-Shawn Hayes Monday morning. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

3. #13 Zahid Valencia, ASU vs #8 Ethan Ramos, UNC
This will be Zahid's biggest test of his collegiate career. Ramos is extremely tough and his double leg is excellent. If you're going to take down Zahid, that would be the attack to use. It's very rare to see someone finish with just one of Zahid's legs.

2. #2 Connor Medbery, Wisconsin vs #4 Tanner Hall, ASU
Medbery sent a national message with his lopsided win over Ty Walz. Is Tanner ready to enter that "title contender" conversation? We'll find out tomorrow.

1. #14 Anthony Valencia, ASU vs #5 Chad Walsh, Rider
Sure this one will have some national rankings implications, but the reason to pick this one is purely aesthetic. Last week we saw Anthony jumping over, sliding and everything in between, all in the name of takedowns. Walsh is as unorthodox and as dangerous a pinner you'll find.
