In April of 2015, four time Nebraska State Champion, Doyle Trout was in a car accident.  This car accident not only claimed the Wyoming commit's left leg, but many thought it would end his wrestling career.

Not so fast.

Doyle entered the Wyoming Cowboy Open this weekend.  A feat in itself.  Not only was the Redshirt Freshman able to compete, he won his first bout by a score of 6-0.

Though he would lose his 2nd and 3rd matches, the point had already been made.  Doyle was back.  While his wrestling may never impact the NCAA Division 1 landscape in terms of wins and losses (Though, at this point, how can you rule Doyle out?), Trout's resilience and courage to put it on the line will resonate within the wrestling community beyond this day.
