195

Contenders
No. 4 Brandon Whitman
No. 5 Jacob Raschka
No. 6 Jake Woodley
No. 7 John Borst
No. 9 Andrew Davison
No. 10 Gavin Hoffman
No. 13 Noah Bushman
Andrew Horun
Daniel Kerkvliet
Tony Wuest

Commentary: The list of competitors isn't long, but the dudes who are coming are enough to bring the house down. John Borst is a man-child and really burst onto the scene with his huge runner-up performance in Fargo. I feel like Jake Woodley is a bit under the radar despite being ranked in the top 10. He moves well and is a guy that can do well here. I'd like to see Davison open up a bit. I've only seen it happen a few times, and when he gets his offense going he's as good as anyone. However, he's got to get it going first. Raschka is a great competitor, too. He is another guy who put his name on the mat with a big performance in Fargo when he won the stop sign two years ago. And then there's Brandon Whitman. He's got the potential to win it all, but it's very possible that Borst and Fargo runner-up Gavin Hoffman could be wrestling for the belt.

Holmes' picks: 1. Borst  2. Hoffman  3. Whitman  4. Woodley
Willie's picks:  1. Hoffman  2. Woodley  3. Whitman  4. Raschka

Contenders
No. 9 Zane Black
No. 13 Jeff Allen
No. 15 Cole Nye
Marquis Cobb
Diata Drayton
Johnny Shafer

Commentary: I really like Jeff Allen to emerge as the champion, but I wouldn't be surprised if an unknown big man came out with a big performance this weekend. Be on the lookout for our ranked guys---Zane Black, Cole Nye, and Allen---to do what they do, but someone will shine this weekend and really challenge these guys.

Holmes' picks: 1. Allen  2. Black  3. Nye  4. Cobb
Willie's picks:  1. Black   2. Nye   3. Allen   4. Darrah

Contenders
No. 5 Kevin Vough
No. 9 Mansur Abdul-Malik
No. 17 Zach Muller
Brendan Furman
Michael Kramer
Blake Zalapi

Commentary: The match that we will probably see in the end is Kevin Vough vs. Mansur Abdul-Malik. Vough had a tough season last year where he was pretty banged up the entire way. Seeing a healthy Vough will be something scary.

Holmes' picks: 1. Vough  2. Abdul-Malik  3. Furman  4. Kramer
Willie's picks:   1. Vough  2. Abdul-Malik  3. DeSeriere  4. Muller
