Another Pennsylvania hammer is off the board as Cadet World Champion Jarod Verkleeren has verbally committed to Iowa State. Verkleeren, a FloNationals Champ, most recently was a runner-up in the Fargo finals to Anthony Artalona at 145-pounds. The PA stud currently ranks as the #2-ranked wrestler at 145 and the #26-ranked recruit on the Class of 2017 Big Board. Verkleeren projects as a 149-pounder.

Joining Verkleeren will by 2016 Fargo Freestyle champ Jake Allar. Allar had a phenomenal finish in Fargo as he won the stop sign with a win over Max Wohlabaugh at 160-pounds. Allar is ranked 17th on the Class of 2017 Big Board and third at 160. He projects as a 165-pounder.
