Media Reports Mamiashvili Punched Female Wrestler
Yesterday, several media outlets reported that Russian Wrestling Federation President Mikhail Mamiashvili punched a woman wrestler in the face.

Competing at 63kg, Russia's Inna Truzhukova lost in her Bronze medal bout on Thursday. According to The Washington Post, Truzhokva said later that evening there was a confrontation where Mamiashvili struck her twice in the face. Mamiashvili, who also serves as Vice President at United World Wrestling, denied the claims, telling Championat:
I did not hit the Innu Trazhukovu. We had a conversation in a raised voice. Such was. After the defeats we have always a hard call, but before battering never came. I do not know why it is said. Her personal trainer to be present at our meeting. Let him tell you how it was.
The Senior Editor of a popular Russian sports site, Artur Petrosyan tweeted otherwise stating that Mamiashvili didn't deny it, and that Russian Olympic Committee Member, Shamil Tarpischev responed in kind:

LNR, another Russian website, suggests United World Wrestling began an internal investigation but that has yet to be confirmed.
