Since the inception of the Who's #1 all-star event, Jody Strittmatter has been the honorary coach of one of our teams. And for the last two years, Gavin Teasdale competed for or to keep the top spot in the country.
So what's one more year, right? Strittmatter and Teasdale will once again be coming back to The Snakepit. Teasdale, who is currently 1-1 at WNO, lost to Kade Olivas in 2014 as he made high school debut sporting the infamous fight shorts and compression shirt combination of the all-star, then defeated Roman Bravo-Young in last year's event. His opponent is still yet to be announced for this year, but Teasdale is excited to be making the return to Lehman Turner Arena at Grace Hall to defend his top spot for another year.
Strittmatter has become a staple in the coaching chairs at WNO. Listen to Strittmatter after he accepted his fourth invitation to Who's #1 at Fargo.
Along with coaching Teasdale, he's coached guys like Michael Kemerer, Jason Nolf and Cadet World Champ Jarod Verkleeren at the prestigious event over the last few years.
