In the Fargodome, anything can happen. Every year, guys that come out of nowhere and have great performances.
A bunch of guys saw their stock go up at this year's Fargo, which further proves there are always guys that are just waiting for their opportunity that seize the moment. Now, I know some of their fans are going to say, "It wasn't an upset, we knew the whole time," or some variation of "I told you so."
And that's fine, but let's be honest: Whether you thought you knew or not, these guys still shocked us all with how they performed.
So let's look at the biggest upsets of the entire tournament.
Aaron Brooks takes out Julian Ramirez.
Tyler Curd techs Cohlton Schultz.
Nic Aguilar knocks off No. 4, Dylan D'Emilio.
Josh Ramirez comes back in the second period to defeat 2015 double finalist Jack Jessen.
Jakob Campbell holds on to get the win over Alex Thomsen.
Kevin Parker gets two techs in one match over Jelani Embree.
Tough stay at the Marriott for Mantanona.
Ian Parker edges Taylor LaMont in the freestyle final.
Jake Allar defeats returning finalist Evan Wick.
Travis Ford-Melton shuts out No. 2, Adam Busiello.
