Prosecutors: Not Enough Evidence To Charge J Robinson
Prosecutors from Hennepin County announced today that there was not enough evidence to bring charges against Minnesota's wrestlers or head coach J Robinson.

Robinson has been in hot water since May 26, when a story from the Minnesota Star Tribune suggested J Robinson failed to report prescription drug use to the proper authorities. On June 1, Coach Robinson was placed on administrative leave

FloSports CEO Martin Floreani wrote an editorial in support of Coach Robinson that was critical of the media coverage of this story, largely due to the unsubstantiated claims of a single source.

Today, the Associated Press announced that no criminal charges would be filed at this time.

When reached for comment by FloWrestling, Chris Werle, Minnesota's senior athletic director of strategic communications, said the internal investigation is still ongoing.

"Out of fairness to J and the other wrestlers, we're just not going to have anything to say," Werle said.

Stay tuned for more updates to this developing story.
