USA Wrestling Coaching Decision Coming Tomorrow
A few weeks ago, USA Wrestling Executive Director Rich Bender narrowed down the list of candidates for the USA Freestyle job. This job has been occupied by Bruce Burnett since the Spring of 2014 when Zeke Jones stepped down to take the job at Arizona State University.

Bender said that the search had been narrowed down to three candidates: Lou Rosselli, Kenny Monday and Bill Zadick. The process is coming to a close and USA Wrestling is prepared to make their announcement. USA Wrestling will be announcing their big decision tomorrow live on a Special Edition of FloWrestling Radio Live at 11 AM EST.

But before that happens, let’s take a look at the three incredible candidates vying for the position.

Kenny Monday: The 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist most recently held a position with that Blackzilians MMA team as the wrestling coach for a number of UFC fighters. Monday also has coached many different levels of wrestling including being on staff for his alma mater, Oklahoma State, where he was a three-time All-American.

Bill Zadick: Zadick has been involved with the USA freestyle team as the resident coordinator and assistant freestyle coach since 2009. During his years of competition, he was a two-time All-American at Iowa with a fifth place finish in his junior year before winning a National title in 1996. He went on to claim the 2006 World title at 66kg and took over at his current position in 2008.

Lou Rosselli: Rosselli is currently the associate head coach of the 2015 NCAA Champion Ohio State Buckeyes and runs the Ohio RTC where he trains World Champion Kyle Snyder. In 2009 he was named the NWCA Assistant Coach of the Year after coaching J Jaggers to his second NCAA title. He has also coached a number of the USA World and National teams. As a competitor, Rosselli was a part of the 1996 Olympic Team and won three U.S. Open titles in ’95, ’96 and ’99.

These guys are no strangers to success on the international level and have proved that they have what it takes to lead the elite. Tune in tomorrow at 11 AM EST sharp for USA Wrestling's announcement.
