Top Tier Coaching For Who's #1
Just like the competitors at Who's #1, our coaches are some of the best as well. For this year's event we have Jody Strittmatter of Young Guns, who's making his third appearance in the corner, and Chad Erikson of Minnesota Elite.
Strittmatter, who will coach Team Green, has coached some of the nation's top high school wrestlers and had one of Pennsylvania’s most successful wrestling clubs for quite some time. He and his Young Guns all-stars have captured team titles at Disney Duals and NHSCA Nationals along with having some of his wrestlers claims some of the most highly coveted accolades in the World.
Across the mat for Team Black will be Minnesota Elite's Erikson making his WNO debut as team coach. However, he and Strittmatter did coach Bobby Steveson and Mark Hall to some very dominating wins in the Snakepit last year. Erikson was a two-time All-American while wrestling at Minnesota and a four-time state champion in high school. Now as the coach and camp director of Minnesota Elite, he works with some of Minnesota’s best wrestlers.
Both these coaches have long resumes filled with incredible accolades and will be great additions to the event. To check out the hammers that these guys will be coaching take a look at the match-ups. And this is an event you don't want to miss, so click here for ticket information.
