Darrion Caldwell With Another Failed Backflip!
Darrion Caldwell With Another Failed Backflip!
Darrion Caldwell has been known for his incredible skills on the mat and in the cage. The NCAA Champion and current undefeated MMA fighter also has been known for his high flying celebrations.
It all began after Darrion pulled off the massive upset over Brent Metcalf (Metcalf gave a fantastic interview after the loss) and ushered in the "Shove Gate" era. In the closing seconds of the match, Darrion began his backflip routine. Metcalf had none of it.
Fast forward to todays Bellator 143 card. Caldwell was pitted against former 60kg World Teamer Shawn Bunch at 135 pounds. Darrion just finished submitting Bunch and went to the top of the cage for his patented celebration. That's where it all went wrong.
Despite the collision with the camerawoman, it appears everyone is no worse for wear.
Darrion moves to 8-0 professionally and is rapidly climbing the Bellator Bantamweight ranks.
