WNO Announcement: High-Level Slickness At 126
The man involved in the longest match in high school history that had everyone in the Snakepit on the edge of their seats will be returning to Who’s No. 1 again this year.

Daton Fix is back to take on Rudy Yates at 126-pounds. Fix, who just claimed bronze at the Cadet World Championships, is currently the #2-ranked pound-for-pound wrestler in the country. We’ve seen him dominate the field at Fargo and defeat Junior World Champ Spencer Lee at the Cadet and University National tournament. Now, he looking to get his first WNO victory.

But Yates is a gamer. He’s never backed down from a challenge and when he steps up, he does so in grand fashion. Yates really burst onto the scene last season with his win over Mitch McKee. Prior to that, he was a FloNationals runner-up, who made probably one of the most epically hilarious entrances for his finals match against Yianni Diakomihalis in 2014 (see picture).

This match will have a ton of high-level energy from both guys. It’s going to be the inside trip of Daton Fix versus the slick elbow tie duck under of Rudy Yates.
