What a Difference Two Years Makes
In 2013 Kyle Snyder won a junior world title, but he certainly was not ready to compete at the senior level. During the filming of The Path to Budapest Kyle was in Colorado Springs helping the senior team prepare for their world championships shortly after Kyle had notched his junior title.

With the practice room running thin on upper weights during a tournament simulation day Kyle jumped in and wrestled matches against 2013 world team members JD Bergman and Tervel Dlagnev. Both wrestlers beat Kyle by tech fall. Here was are just two years later and Kyle not only made the senior world team, he defeated defending Olympic gold medalist Jake Varner 3 matches in a row.

Listen to Kyle reflect on those two practice room matches in 2013 and the "man strength" that he felt in both JD and Tervel.
