Apparently, the University of Minnesota is making a major investment into their athletic programs.

With the resignation of their now former athletic director Norwood Teague coming just days ago from the result of a sexual harrassment situation, the university handed out contract extensions to a number of its coaches with long time wrestling coach J Robinson being one of them.

Robinson, who took over as the Minnesota head coach in 1986, signed an extension through April 2019, it was announced Tuesday. While at the helm for the Gophers, the former Oklahoma State Cowboy coached over 60 All-Americans and led them to their only three National Titles in the programs history.

Some of the other coaches who received entensions where men's basketball coach Richard Pitino, women's basketball coach Marlene Stollings and softball coach Jessica Allister.
