WNO Announcement: 113-Pound Match-up Set
Arizona and Pennsylvania are set to collide at Who’s No. 1 for the #1 spot at 113-pounds.
Currently, Junior World Champ Spencer Lee sits atop of the weight class, but with his ascent to 120 to take on Justin Mejia at WNO, the number one spot at 113 will be up for grabs with Pennsylvania state champ Gavin Teasdale and four-time Fargo Champ Roman Bravo-Young looking to claim the throne.
For Teasdale it will be his second appearance at WNO after giving Cade Olivas a battle last year as the two made their high school debuts. And if Roman Bravo-Young has his way, Teasdale will remain winless at Lehigh University’s Grace Hall.
RBY is no stranger to the big stage. If you ask anyone who saw any of his Fargo championship runs over the past two years, the bigger the stage, the more he shows up.
But will he be able takeout the returning PA state champ?
Teasdale is currently preparing for the Cadet World Championships, and come October 17, Bravo-Young could be the first to find out what the Cadet World Team Member is bringing to “The Snakepit.”
Will RBY be heading back to Arizona with the top spot? Or will Teasdale defend his home turf and keep the top ranking in PA?
