Nick Suriano has finally made his choice.
The three-time New Jersey State Champ made a verbal commitment to Penn State today. Suriano, who will be going into his senior year, currently has a 121-0 career record to go along with his three state titles. The Bergen Catholic native is a true ironman, which he proved in his epic marathon match with Daton Fix at last year’s Who’s No. 1 all-star dual.
The Jersey boy should fit in well as he projects to be a 125/133-pounder for the Lions in addition to Cortez as they look build upon the strength Penn State has throughout their line up.
I guess the question of whether Cortez's decision would deter Suriano has been answered. But what does this mean for the other big time recruits like Chad Red? Could PSU get another hammer in Navy and White? Or has this week's commitments/transfers made taken them off the list?
No one knows for sure.
But what we do know is that Penn State is continuing to get stronger.
