Clint Musser Hired As Top Assistant At American
American head wrestling coach, Teague Moore, announced via Twitter yesterday that Clint Musser has been named head assistant.

Musser spent last season as an assistant coach at Cleveland State, and the three previous seasons as the volunteer assistant at Kent State.

"Clint brings a calculated experience to the program. His Big Ten wrestling experience will be extremely valuable at American," Moore said in the schools official press release.

Musser was a four-time Ohio state finalist, and three time state champion for Walsh Jesuit beforing continuing his career at Penn State where he was a two-time All-American and NCAA runner-up in 1999.

"Clint also has experience at Kent State and Cleveland State, programs similarly sized to AU. He's seen the recruiting challenges, and most importantly, he's developed the young men under his direction to excel in their environment," Moore continued.

Musser also took to Twitter to express his thanks to Cleveland State, and to state his excitement on joining the American staff.
