He’s back! Kyle Dake is back on the mat and looking pretty slick.

Kid Dynamite made his first appearance after being sidelined by an unfortunate injury to take home the Northeast Regional title this weekend. Dake took out Mason Manville in the semifinals with ease before take a forfeit in the final.

             

He cleared out the field pretty quickly and didn’t show any signs that he was the least bit rusty. It’s safe to say that KD is on a mission once again this weekend proved it.

It is his amazing performance in his first tournament back that makes Dake the FloWrestler of the Week.

Recorded a huge 11-1 tech fall over Jarrod Garnett of LVAC to claim the 61kg Northeast Regional title.

Bratke’s pick: Jayson Ness, Minnesota Storm



Made his first appearance since winning an NCAA title in 2010 to take home the 65kg championship at the Northeast Regional. Ness defeated Brock Zacherl of Clarion Wrestling Club, 14-4 in the finals.

CP’s pick: Connor Medbery, Titan Mercury WC



Medberry came out on top of an 8-3 decision over former Bloomsburg NCAA qualifier Justin Grant of NYAC to win the 125kg Northeast Regional championship.

Willie’s pick: Brad Pataky, West Point WC

Came away with the 10-0 tech fall in the finals to win the 57kg crown at the Northeast Regional tournament.
